Disfear is a Swedish D-beat band that formed in the early 1990s. They released the albums Soul Scars in 1995 and Everyday Slaughter in 1997, then a 12-track album in 2003, Misanthropic Generation, featuring vocalist Tomas Lindberg of At the Gates and The Great Deceiver fame and Uffe Cederlund of Entombed fame. They recently finished working with Converge's Kurt Ballou for their new album, Live the Storm. It was confirmed on 30 March 2011 that bassist Henke Frykman had lost his battle against cancer.
